In this first book of the Blue series, a blue square goes looking for someone to play with. He plays with shapes different and similar to himself, finding excitement, discomfort, ease and limits along the way. In the end, he comes up with a solution that explodes into color and potential beyond anything he and his friends imagined.
The first book comes as an ebook with audio tracks, allowing listeners to hear the book in each of 3 languages, to practice and play with words from each language, and even to hear the book read in all 3 languages for a unique experience. SHOULD BE AVAILABLE SUMMER 2013.
The series continues with 5 sequels, where Blue and his friends explore their world and have experiences young children will recognize as similar to their own. Dressing up for a costume party, visiting relatives Blue has never met before, having new neighbors, summer art camp, all build math, language and even social/emotional skills while being enjoyed. In the 6th book, Blue begins to see other sides to life, as the illustrations go 3-D with cubes, spheres and pyramids. STAY TUNED FOR AVAILABILITY.
